Aqua Scholarship Recipient Wins Outstanding Thesis Award
Jodi Savitz, Aqua Scholarship recipient, has been selected as the recipient of the 2011 Outstanding Thesis Award in Latina and Latino Studies for her senior thesis, “A Haute Shade of Lipstick.”
AFW Sponsors RelationSHIFTS
A conference for and by young women, RelationSHIFTS is OUTlet’s sister conference devoted to the topics that matter most to young women. The conference is on June 25th. It is free, but you must register in advance.
AFW now accepting Grant Applications
The AFW Grants Program offers grants up to $20,000 to organizations for projects that work toward improving the wellness and equality of LBT women in South Florida. Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2011.

The Aqua Family Barbeque was an enormous success! Kids played, parents mingled, and everyone enjoyed delicious barbeque. Aqua plans to make this an annual event and looks forward to creating future events that enrich the lives of LGBT families.
