Requirements for the Aqua Foundation for Women (AFW) scholarship:

  1. Scholar will maintain a commitment to academic excellence and will maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  2. Scholar will serve as a spokesperson for AFW
  3. Scholar will demonstrate mature and responsible behavior and good moral character at all times
  4. Scholar will comply with the Mentor Program requirements
  5. Scholar will release AFW to use her image for marketing purposes
  6. Scholar will uphold the mission of AFW in promoting the equality, strength, health and visibility of South Florida lesbian, bisexual and transgender women, and act in a leadership capacity on behalf of lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities
